Have you ever seen these little devices called uv sanitizers before? I never did till recently. In case you’ve never hard of them, here is the story.
I was over at a friend’s house. We were supposed to be getting ready to go out. She said she had to finish up some cleaning first and asked if I would mind waiting. I didn’t mind at all. So I’m sitting at the dining room table and she is in the next room and we’re chatting. She brings out a basket of laundry and I thought nothing of it, at first.
Then she grabbed this device. It is shaped like a baton or wand. She laid out the laundry in the table and turned on the device and it blinked this faint light at the laundry. She passed it over each piece of clothing. I had no idea what I was seeing!
Well of course it was a UV sanitizer. Apparently UV (ultraviolet) light can kill germs and dust mites very quickly. Unlike ussing a disinfectant there is no chemical residue that gets into your clothing or on your hands. When you turn off the sanitizer the light is gone and everything is safe and non-toxic. I had never thought of it before but my friend told me how many tiny critters live in our laundry, on our furniture, even in your bed. Yuck! Uv sanitizers are a good way to make your house cleaner and healthier. Now that I know that I think I will get one.
